This project involved a major renovation of the interior of the church including the sanctuary, a new welcome center, kitchen and classroom renovations. Ames also built an addition for a new vestibule and portico and enclosed the existing portico to create a new conference room. Ames performed this work on a cost+ basis. We were able to help the church realize significant savings over the original estimate which allowed them to use the extra funds to refurbish their parking area.
“It is my distinct pleasure to recommend Ames Construction to you as an excellent option for a design/build firm. We had the opportunity to work with Ames on a total renovation of our church building in the last year and were very pleased with the work, organization, people, and professionalism they portrayed.
If you are considering Ames as your design/build firm, I highly recommend them. at ECOB (Ephrata Church of the Brethren), we are about relationships, about finding ways to partner with people and companies locally. We were tremendously blessed to find Ames., to get to know them more and to work with them professionally. You will not be disappointed in their passion to make your dreams become a reality – they did it for us.” Brian Messler – Lead Pastor, Ephrata Church of the Brethren
“I was pleased to work with Ames Construction for the design/build renovation project at Ephrata Church of the Brethren. I have worked with Ames for many years and we’ve had a great relationship. This project was no exception. Together we were able to come up with an outstanding design and plan to accomplish ECOBs goals. I will also say that the team at ECOB was great to work with as well. This project was an exceptional collaboration between architect, owner, and general contractor. I would recommend Ames to anyone looking for a professional, conscientious commercial general contractor.” Mark J. Schillaci – Architect & Owner, Schillaci Architects ltd.
As a property manager of more than 25 buildings, I have found the staff at Ames to be very knowledgeable, professional, detail-oriented, dependable, and well-versed in all aspects of the heating and cooling industry. I can count on them when we have emergency repair calls. I plan on using them for all our future HVAC construction and service needs.
