This multi-year shopping center renovation project included the demolition of a vacant Kmart to make way for a new Giant grocery store and a Five Below store, fully constructed by Ames Construction, Inc.  The center had a Giant in an existing location, and after the new Giant was built Ames renovated the old space for multiple new tenants. Ames Construction also demolished a small Rita’s Ice building and built the shell for the brand new PJ Whelihan’s restaurant in that location. We later fit out the new Rita’s Ice in another section of the center. Facade renovations and landlord work was performed on multiple buildings throughout the center, and Ames Construction also fit-out projects for Hallmark and Marshalls/HomeGoods

The center remained open throughout the entire renovation timeline, which required a builder who was able to do the work efficiently in order to meet the deadlines of multiple tenants, and more importantly required that things were done safely, protecting both customers and employees as they accessed stores.

It is my distinct pleasure to recommend Ames Construction to you as an excellent option for a design/build firm. We had the opportunity to work with Ames on a total renovation of our church building in the last year and were very pleased with the work, organization, people, and professionalism they portrayed.

If you are considering Ames as your design/build firm, I highly recommend them. at ECOB (Ephrata Church of the Brethren), we are about relationships, about finding ways to partner with people and companies locally. We were tremendously blessed to find Ames., to get to know them more and to work with them professionally. You will not be disappointed in their passion to make your dreams become a reality – they did it for us.
